Our faculty aims to foster highly talented and creative individuals who will leave our school with sensibility, a code of ethics, communications skills and a wide arsenal of knowledge appropriate to the demands of contemporary IT society. Moreover, we also aim to promote education and research to foster talented individuals and to equip them with the practical abilities and balanced international perspectives necessary to pursue a career in those professional fields (business administration, system, medical service) grounded on knowledge and the technology of information processing.
Department of Business and Information Systems
We are witnessing new aspects of the manufacturing, service, and business industries, as well as new characteristics of corporations and social activities in the era of globalization that is the 21st century. Our department aims to cultivate highly trained individuals who have a solid academic knowledge base and insight into the analysis, management, operation and drafting of plans in each field. Furthermore, we strive to nurture and develop individuals who, as IT specialists, can effectively and proactively use information technology for various types of problem-solving, as challenges arise.
Department of Systems and Informatics
IT has become important as a core technology in various fields, perhaps none more so than the ambit of human activities. Our department aims to produce highly skilled information system engineers with a sound knowledge of computer science and software engineering, who can play an active role in various applied fields.
Department of Medical Management and Informatics
One of the most important challenges that we must tackle in Japan's aging society is how to provide high quality and advanced medical and welfare services. When we consider this in conjunction with the reality of the declining birthrate, the implementation of IT offers an effective means to help in addressing this issue. Our department aims to foster highly advanced medical IT technicians with a wide range of knowledge concerning medical welfare who can become leaders in such fields, through a combination of hands on and practical training.
Faculty of Information Media
Modes of information expression have become diverse, segmented and highly specialized, largely as a result of the rapid advances occurring in IT society. We strive to foster talented individuals able to convey information in an easily accessible manner in such an environment, using an appropriate combination of static and moving images, graphics and sound.
We also aim to develop individuals who have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and technology to systematically store graphic and/or sound based data in a computer, as well as having the ability to rapidly search and process such data, and share it over the Internet.

Moreover, we also strive to promote education and emphasize research, important considerations in fostering talented individuals. By providing them with such specialized knowledge, technology, practical abilities and balanced international perspectives, our graduates will successfully be able to pursue careers in fields such as IT infrastructure technology by constructing and designing systems based on such infrastructure, as well as by creating multimedia contents that can be shared in society through the Internet.
Media Design Course
The manner in which information is conveyed has changed greatly due to the myriad advances in the IT sector, resulting in diverse, segmented and complex methodologies. We aim to develop talented IT professionals able to convey information in an easily accessible manner in such an environment, using an appropriate combination of static and moving images, graphics and sound.
Media Technology Course
We aim to create able-minded individuals who have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and technology to systematically store graphic, image and sound data in a computer, and subsequently search and process that data, in addition to making it the Internet accessible.
